Let’s say there would be a final Q&A.
What questions would you have or what questions would you like to get answered?
Would be awesome if you can put these questions in here!
When and how will the server launch be promoted?
Can you confirm that no custom content or expansions will be released after the final patch and that the server will remain vanilla only?
when will the 2-year timeline be released?
Will the website and forums be redesigned? (website needs a faction balance meter like the one on Kronos)
Will the Talisman of Binding shard drop in Molten Core once then removed from loot table like it did on vanilla? (i know it was an accident)
will the blood of hakkar pandemic be recreated in patch 1.7?
how would you address the possibility of vanilla servers arising in the future? would you prefer to invite those teams to join yours to reduce competition and keep the vanilla community united?
Okay that’s good but there seems to be some confusing about it in the discord so it would be good to get that clearly stated again. Other question is how long will the OG epic mounts be attainable for? We know they’re attainable for a short while but I’ve seen people ask how long and I don’t think they got an answer yet.
Other than that what I really enjoyed was them getting into their philosophy like explaining what they’re doing with Lupos and importantly why that sort of stuff I feel like when presented with their underlying philosophy it gives us more faith in their work and ability to make the right decisions.
Looking forward, if Everlook is a success, what proportion of the team would be willing to continue on with another server under the Everlook umbrella after this?
Uh so got another question. I just recently found out that rest xp is getting uncapped.
What’s the deal with dropping a pretty significant change like uncapped rest xp so close to launch? I don’t recall a particularly large clamor for this change.
Shouldn’t large scale changes like this have been discussed well before? It feels a bit fun serverish to me.

This…
**Create an alt day one, level your main… come back to insane amounts of double XP. **
This is very exaggerated. In order to fill up a single level with rested XP it takes 160 h (>6 days). This means for a full rested XP till level 60, you have to “wait/rest” ~393 days.
Anyway, it is/was also for the staff a very hot topic. Today we discussed it again and came up with a compromise. The rested XP will only be uncapped as soon you have a level 60 character. Until then the rested XP remain capped.
Most if not all people visiting Everlook are here for the LH / Vanilla wow experience. This change is not authentic.
Not sure who is asking for or wants this change? On a 2 year server timeline, I don’t feel it is necessary.
All this change does is encourage speed leveling of your main to start raid logging sooner; then out pacing everyone else on alts who are levelling to enjoy the content.
Just a change for changes sake that benefits the sweaties, results in resentment and double standards.
Know when a change is a step too far… revert the change imo. Keep it Vanilla!! That is what we are here for!
But what is motivating this in the first place? As Bilko points out, this is a bone being thrown to sweaties and speed runners. Is that really necessary in a vanilla-like server?
